On a mission to excite kids about World Languages and their colorful cultures.

I have always loved learning latin languages and exploring their cultures. Growing up on an island near the coast of France, I was fortunate to be exposed to French and Francophone culture at an early age. It was a gift that allowed me to explore and appreciate cultures and traditions other than my own. By the time I left college, I had enjoyed opportunities to study Latin, French, Spanish, Catalan and Italian and study abroad in France and Spain.

I started my teaching career in the UK, where I was fortunate to work alongside some phenomenal educators at a language magnet school. I realized that I am happiest when exciting young learners about world languages and their diverse and colorful cultures, opening their minds and hearts to the world around them.

Now a licensed teacher in the USA, I live in Iowa with my husband and children. Over the last 17 years I have enjoyed the opportunity to teach preschool, elementary, middle school, and AP / high school students in classrooms, community centers and out of my own home.
